WiFiFly Refund Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Statutory rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
All WiFiFly hardware products are covered by statutory guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Under the CGA, goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their description.
Faulty or defective products (CGA remedies)
If your WiFiFly kit arrives damaged, develops a defect through normal domestic use, or fails to meet CGA statutory guarantees:
- Minor defect: WiFiFly will repair the item, replace it with an equivalent model, or issue a refund at our discretion within a reasonable timeframe.
- Serious failure: You may choose a full refund or a replacement unit. Return shipping for verified CGA warranty claims will be covered by WiFiFly.
Change of mind & non-faulty returns
Under New Zealand law, retailers are not required to provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect ordering, or personal preference. We do not accept returns or issue refunds for non-faulty goods once dispatched.
How to request a warranty return
If you experience an issue with your hardware, contact help@wififly.co.nz with your order details and a description of the fault. We will assist with troubleshooting or provide return shipping instructions for assessment if required.
